Date: July 22-28
Cost: $1,650. pp. (tax inc.)
This trip has always been one of our most popular canoe trips, and each time we offer it, we make changes to the intinerary to maximize your adventure and photo opportunities. The adventure begins with a floatplane trip deep into the park to Florence Lake – the largest headwater lake for the Lady Evelyn River system. This is truly a magical place with crystal-clear water, old-growth pine and towering hills. We’ll climb Florence Mountain for a spectacular view of the surrounding wilderness, and spend three days exploring the river – rich in diversity and wildlife. The last three days will be spent at our eco-lodge at Cabin Falls where we will hike old-growth forests and explore five waterfalls along the lower river. Please refer to our website for more details on Eco-lodge Adventures. Trip includes flight in and out of the park, from the town of Temagami. This trip includes running class I rapids and rugged topography, however, only basic flatwater paddling skills are required. Guide: Hap Wilson.

Noire River Adventure Tour
Date: Sept. 11-16
Cost: $1,150. pp. (tax inc.)
Each year we try to do at least one fall adventure river tour; this year we have chosen one of Quebec’s “Triple Play” rivers – the Black (Noire). Six days of whitewater fun in a spectacular setting, not too late in the season that the weather or water is too cold to enjoy. We’ll negotiate Class I to III rapids on a relaxed, fun pace with lots of time to explore. Participants must have basic paddling and moving water skills – this is an excellent trip for those wanting to hone particular skills, or for those who have taken our June whitewater clinic. Trip includes shuttle in to Lac St. Patrice. Rendezvous will be at the Black River Inn for a pre-trip dinner gathering, Saturday, September 8th.
